also is a non-profit organization and a registered charity. We provide adult and family literacy services to the Ottawa community, which includes on-site childcare for parents attending programs at Heartwood and the Reading and Parents Program (RAPP)

The ADAO was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1999. The organization began as the APVA, the agoraphobia and peer volunteer association, in April 1996.

The Ottawa Valley Weavers and Spinners Guild was formed in 1949 with the aim of drawing together individuals interested in the fibre arts, particularly weaving and spinning.

People, Words & Change is a non-profit literacy organization for adults in the Ottawa region. We have been in operation since 1978. In a nutshell, People, Words & Change helps people read and write better.
