Heartwood House: au coeur de la vie was founded by a group of ten dedicated volunteers, who developed the concept from vision through to implementation over a one year period, beginning in September 2000. The individuals below came together as The Founders Group to act in the capacity of the first Board of Directors for Heartwood House: au coeur de la vie in March 2001. In 2006 The Founders Group passed the ownership torch to our Member Organizations, who for the first time elected their own Board of Directors.
