Everyone wins when we work together. Heartwood House and all members of the LOLA Bingo Association provide important services to people in need in the Ottawa community. Thank you to the Capital Gaming and Entertainment Centre/ Overbrook Bingo for its support of the LOLA Bingo Association.

Many thanks to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for its support of Heartwood House with a $144,000 Resilient Communities Fund grant to rebuild and recover from impacts of COVID-19 by renovating a commercial space, purchasing and installing new HVAC system, and installing energy efficient windows, in order to provide safe and affordable work spaces to deliver essential services to the Ottawa community.

OUr Mission

Heartwood House provides an affordable, accessible workplace for small non-profit and charitable organizations, enabling them to maximize their services through a mutually supportive, hospitable and empowering environment for their clients and participants.

Heartwood House serves the residents of Ottawa who are marginalized, living in poverty, and/or in need of educational, mental health, emotional, physical, economic, employment, training or recreational support through collaboration and the development of formal and informal partnerships within the greater community.
