Heartwood and the Unitarian Fellowship came together on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in celebration of Thanksgiving. The festivities began with a short service led by Reverend Rodrigo Emilio Solano-Quesnel, where the folktale of the Stone Soup was shared. This was followed by a delicious meal which included soup and apple crisp prepared with the fresh food offerings from our community. What a wonderful opportunity to celebrate community and the good things that happen when we work together!

Heartwood House serves the residents of Ottawa who are marginalized, living in poverty, and/or in need of educational, mental health, emotional, physical, economic, employment, training or recreational support through collaboration and the development of formal and informal partnerships within the greater community.
